Last Afternoon in Rome

This morning was another aborted run in the Vatican. I arrived forty-five minutes early, but the line was already to the corner. It must be high season. So instead of standing in a queue for two hours, I went and had a coffee.

This afternoon was really just a recap of some of the things I really loved about this place. This included a last visit to (yes, I know) the Pantheon, an espresso at the little market and a climb up to the heights over the People's Plaza. I took the chance to re-shoot the Pantheon with the DSLR, as the sun was well and truly out for the first time in days.

That's about it for Rome, really.

  1. Love them Robert, love them. Just like all of your posts and images so far. Don't forget, and I'm sure you haven't ... Take a breath, look and create a mind memory too x
